11/18/15 Update From Silver Beach

Silver Beach News for 11.18.15

Happy Wednesday!
We kicked off our Food & Clothing Drive this week.  Last year we collected 1,000 pounds of food and this year our Helping Hawks have set the goal of 1,100 pounds!  Earlier this week, a local radio station announced that 1 in 5 families in Whatcom County access local food banks- the need is real. Our donations will benefit families within our school community and the food pantry at Cordata Elementary.  Clothing will be delivered to the Family Resource centers located at Carl Cozier and Alderwood Elementary.  Our goal is that our students feel the joy of giving back to other children and families within our community.
Have a great week! ~Nicole
