12/16/15 Update From Silver Beach

Silver Beach News for 12.16.15

Today, a crew of Helping Hawks loaded 5 cars full of food and clothing and made deliveries to Cordata and Alderwood Elementary schools. We collected over 1200 pounds, surpassing our goal. Pictures attached  and video will be posted on the Silver Beach FaceBook page.  Mr. Gilmore is also in the process of delivering carloads of gifts to our sponsored families. The outpouring of generosity is deeply appreciated. It has truly been a season of giving here at Silver Beach.

Congratulations to second grader, Corbin Shaffer, who won the Bellingham Police Department’s holiday card art contest. Today Officer Brown personally delivered a card to Corbin and a poster of all the entries.  A copy of the poster is in the office.

Friday: Our Winter Sing-A-Long.  We sit in a circle formation attached . If you come to watch be sure to sit across the gym from your child’s grade level.
