2-25-16 Update from Silver Beach

Silver Beach News for 2-25-16

On Tuesday we had our monthly Habit Assembly.  These assemblies are planned by our Leaders in Action group with support from our counselor, Mr. Gilmore.  A group of 4th and 5th graders planned the assembly and wrote the script to teach us about Habit 5: Seek First to Understand and then be Understood.   Our performers were Alexa Hulbert, Irie Weant, Andrew Nesnadny, Ben Sandholm, and Nick Hunter. Cadynce Peoples and Ruth Carter shared the book, In Someone’s Shoes, which taught us about empathy and the importance of recognizing the feelings of others.

On Friday we have another great assembly with author and illustrator Peter Brown.
Have a great week! ~ Nicole
