4/27/16 Update From Silver Beach

Silver Beach News for 4.27.16

Tomorrow night is our Student Led Open House 6-7pm.Here at Silver Beach we are working hard to create a school culture that fosters student ownership of learning.  We believe that every child is a leader and a student led open house is a great way to let them shine.  Students will be the guides and walk their family through their classrooms sharing the learning.  You will see examples of goal setting, reflection and celebrating accomplishments.  Students are encouraged to introduce you to all the other teachers they have: PE, Music, Library, Counselor. We are very excited to have families come and celebrate all the learning! Kona Sno Cones ($3 or $4) will be on the playground following Open House as a fundraiser for next year’s 5th graders.

Friday: NO School- Teacher Collaboration Day
