11/23/2016 Update from Silver Beach

Silver Beach News for 11.23.16

Dear Families,
Thanksgiving is a time of giving thanks and being grateful… Thank you for sending us the greatest kids in the world to spend our days with!  I could not be more thankful to work in such a loving, supportive school where adults and students go above and beyond to reach out and lend a hand.  Our Family Support Network provided 11 heat and serve Thanksgiving meals; 8 of which went to SB Families and 3 more to homeless families in the district.  Mr. Gilmore will personally be delivering four of the meals on Thursday.  Stay tuned for information on our next 5th grade leadership project, The Helping Hawk Food Drive. I wish you a wonderful long weekend filled with family, friends, food and maybe some football!
