After-School Programs (ASP) – Registration Policies

Students must be registered online at least two (2) days prior to the first class, or before the program registration deadline date.  Click here to go to the online registration webpage.  This is required for student safety, to ensure that important contact and pickup information gets to the instructor before class starts.

If computer access is not available, at least three (3) days prior to the first class, complete a paper registration form (located in the office or can be printed from here) and return to the ASP folder in the office.  After the paper registration form is returned to the office, contact (or ask office staff to contact) [email protected] to get the registration processed.

After-School Programs – Family Pickup Policies

Here are some policies and guidelines, developed by the PTO and school staff, to ensure the safety and accountability of your children participating in PTO-sponsored after-school programs:

  1. On a day your child attends an after-school class, put a note in their folder indicating where they go after 3pm (eg. the gym for Junior FIT, music room for theatre, annex for spanish class)
  2. Ensure that the instructor has your number and a secondary emergency contact number, when someone can be reached potentially during the after-school class.
  3. Ensure that you have the instructor’s contact number, in the event you are running late and need to call to inform the instructor.
  4. Arrive on-time (or early) to pickup your child.  If you are late, more than once, your child could be removed from class.
  5. Pickup your child in (or nearby) the class location.  (eg. in the annex C classroom for spanish/lego/art, by the gym exit doors for Junior FIT and karate, by the exit doors to the music room for theatre and strings.)  The school office and the playground are not pickup locations.
  6. If you need reminders on times and locations of classes, click here to go to the ASP webpage for the ASP schedule and program flyers.
